This is gonna be fun!
If you’ve been a reader; you know my vice…coffee. And if you are a new reader, it’s pretty obvious my vice…coffee. It has been the one budget buster I’ve struggled with. I love my coffee house drinks.
I live in Boston, home of Dunkin’Donuts Iced Coffee and the Red Sox. Fastest way to fit in here…make a pit stop at Dunkin’ for a large Iced Coffee on your way to Fenway to catch a Red Sox game. The two are an insitution.
This is the problem!
The problem, the Red Sox are not busting my budget….Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee is! At around $3 each, being a part of that institution is seriously starting to add up.
This is the solution!
Check out how much I’m set to save by switching to International Delight Iced Coffee….
Over the course of a year I could save over $1,000 by drinking my own at home! Check out my sidebar for the cool calculator widget the nice folks at International Delight provided me with. You know I love my savings widgets.
This month I’ll be posting my progress and figuring out what to do with all that extra money?
I want to set myself up for success! I’ll be trying all the flavors: Original, Mocha and Vanilla. This week is all about Mocha. Check out my NEW drink of choice…
This is my drink!
My favorite glass coffee mug.
Fill it up halfway with ice.
Shake the carton well before pouring. Leave some room at the top!
Just a touch of chocolate sauce..a little goes a long way!
Now that’s a coffee house rival!
I’ll be posting my updates here, but if you want to check out who else is switching to International Delight Iced Coffee follow the hashtag #IcedCoffee on TWITTER and the conversation on their FACEBOOK page!
Want to try it for yourself? It’s about $4 for a half-gallon…
..and yes, there’s a coupon for that…doesn’t expire until 4/30..great timing!
Have you tried the new International Delight Iced Coffee drinks? Is coffee busting your budget too?
