Feedback Friday: Revenue Share with HubPages

HubPages is a revenue share website. What is revenue share? The money made is shared between two parties, in this case HubPages and you.

There are TWO ways to make money from HubPages:

Writing your own articles to publish, known as Hubs.
Being an affiliate by promoting others’ Hubs!

Do your friends and family think you have cool tips and tricks? Do you have an awesome recipe and want to find a way to make money off it?

Write up an article for HubPages! You get money from the impressions made by ads on the article. HubPages takes 40% and you will get 60%! HubPages does say that the amount of money to be made is variable, of course. However they also say that publishers (Hubbers) can bring in a steady stream of hundreds of dollars every month.

I know I have a lot of clever readers with a lot of great tips!

Another way to make money is by promoting your own articles, or even OTHERS! HubPages is filled with awesome tips (like how to clean the bottom of your stainless steel pans!) and local reviews.

I know you’re thinking..why would I want to promote someone else’s article..and don’t they get mad about sharing the revenue?

No, they won’t get mad, and you won’t either! You get 10% of the revenue share from the impressions that come through your link..and it comes off of HubPages revenue NOT the writer’s! So cool, right?
