Last week I found out my dear Frugalettes voted me as one of the Top 25 Frugal Blogs of 2012 over at the awesome SkinnyScoop.com! When you start blogging, you never know if anyone, let alone thousands…will ever find and read what you have to say. So, to be voted a favorite is a big-blushing-happy-dance-moment.

Going into debt was the best thing that happened to our family. We lost it all and found ourselves. Holding hands for long walks, laughing until our tummies hurt, eating dinner at home; all because we focused on what we have…each other.
One of the hardest things in life is self-discipline. Saying yes to things we should be saying no to. But like any discipline, if we stick to it there is great reward…
Soon after finding out about winning Top 25, I was invited to join the SkinnyScoop team! SkinnyScoop was made for all us list-makers out there. If you’re a reader of my blog, you know I love a good list. I often write about my “Top 5 Buys” or “Top 10 Tips” and now with SkinnyScoop I can embed all my lists into my posts and make it a lot more fun to read.
