Top 3 Tips for Saving at Daily Deal Sites

There are so many great ways to save money without clipping one coupon! Just because you don’t like clipping coupons, doesn’t mean you can’t save money too! For all the past posts in this series click the link in my sidebar or check them out here!

Daily deal sites…the world has forever changed because of them. No longer do I dare buy food at restaurants full price or Swarovski crystal without checking Eversave. (I’m not confident I ever checked the price on Swarovski crystal…but I do now!)

Top 3 tips for Daily Deal Sites

Stick to THREE sites..that’s it! At the last count, there were over 40 different daily deal sites. Just like couponing, don’t try to catch every deal. Pick 3 that covers the span of what you like. My favorites I stick to: Groupon, eversave and Plum District. Groupon has a section called Deals on Demand! They are deals only available today and are usually hot locations at deep discounts. Before you head out check their Deals on Demand. I like eversave for local deals and Plumdistrict for mommy and kid deals.

Always check daily deal sites around holidays for promo codes. For the Fourth of July, I already spotted two great promos available only today: Use promo code: JULY4 at eversave and get an additional $1 off any save. Use promo code: JULY4TH for an extra 20% off all deals at Plum District. And yes, I will be using both of them! I’m planning to pick up this Swarovski ring necklace 78% off at eversave, and this personalized iPad cover at Plum District.

You have a filing system for everything, including your coupons, you need one for daily deals too! DealsGoRound is an organizer and re-seller of daily deal vouchers! Just go here to sign up for free. They will automatically import all of your vouchers into one place and will alert you when they are expiring. But, it gets better! Have a deal expiring soon you want to sell or looking for one to buy, you can do it here! Imagine getting daily deals for even cheaper than the price they were going for originally.

I just went through and deleted all of my daily deal emails. I'm going to start over and choose three because trying to keep up with them all was just too much.
