The iPhone Will Not Defeat Me: lynda.com

I just got my first iPhone less than a month ago.
 
Yes, I’m aware it’s been around for, oh, five years, but it takes me awhile or FIVE years to warm up to a trend.
 
iPhone, iPhone, iPhone. It’s all I heard from my “smarty-phone” friends, you need to get an iPhone. Well, I got one and I’m lost.
 
I think of myself as pretty tech-savvy. I do run a whole site and all! But besides making a phone call and taking half-decent pics with it, I know I’m missing out on a lot of super cool features.
 

 
School, in my generation, ahem, meant carrying around textbooks the weight of a small country.
 
Tablets were made of paper not metal. Phones were attached to the wall. And the closest you got to photography was sitting still for your class picture.
 
Let’s hold hands and pay respect to that time which is no more. It’s shocking millions of brains didn’t implode from the stress of learning new skills.

    oh wow- I ran over my android phone (which I ADORE) and am 6 months from getting a renewal, so a friend gave me her old iphone. after a month I can say I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!
    It's so un-user friendly versus the android, but I've got 5 months to go, so I can really use the free tutorials! Can't wait for the giveaway!

      I've had an android for awhile and I *thought* the iPhone would be pretty similar, that's what I kept hearing, but it's really not. I was in the same situation! I was in between phones for almost 6 months, I'm hoping the tutorials get me to master the iPhone! Giveaway coming in a week!
