So I Went to The Happiest Place on Earth

Who woulda thunk it?

Me. Little ‘ol struggling to pay the bills, pinching pennies, keep afloat…me.

OK, maybe my mom would have thought it. I am her daughter and to her why wouldn’t I have gone?  But I did NOT see this one coming!

September 2011:my article in All You magazine was set to be published. I had only been blogging a couple months at that point and we were no where near getting out of debt. Clipping coupons was a way of life. If I didn’t have a coupon for it, there was no way I was buying it!

September 2012: I’m here writing about an all expense paid trip to Disneyland I just took? Reminds me of my favorite Fairy Godmother quote from Cinderella:

Even miracles take a little time.

I’m a contributing writer at SassyMamaInLA and I went to represent her blog and attend a press junket for Finding Nemo 3D, Tinker Bell’s Secret of the Wings and Cinderella. Talk about serendipity considering I felt like Cinderella!

Named Travel +Leisure’s Number 1 Best Hotel in North America. Yeah, you totally want to stay here. It’s a celeb magnet.

 
Remember the infamous paparazzi fight with Justin Timberlake? Not this one, or this one,  or this one, BUT THIS ONE.
 

That’s the London!

And guess what? They are frugal friendly! All phone calls to London, UK are complimentary. I couldn’t think of anyone I knew to call in London, besides the Queen. And I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t take my call.

This is the part where I give my acceptance speech and start thanking everyone who got me to this point. Oh dear, hope I don’t pull a Hillary Swank.
