Date Night: There’s An App For That!

If I could, I would be spontaneous.
 
What? I don’t look like the spontaneous type?
 
Is it because I have three kids under 6? Or is it all my carefully planned Bento made lunches. Don’t let my menu planning fool you. I’m spontaneous, if only in my dreams.
 
You know the shows where the wife has this whole weekend getaway planned and all the bags are packed? That’s me. Seriously. I would totally do that, if I could.
 
We have no family here in Boston. None. Nada. It’s all on us to take care of the kids, and take them everywhere.  I love them dearly, they are just the cutest little things.  But my husband and I are tired. Like, really, really tired.

    I would love to have a date night being that my hubby and I haven’t had one since our anniversary over two months ago :-( I would love to go to a quiet cafe, sip coffee and take a romantic walk through the park :-)

    I don't need a babysitter now that my kids are grown and gone, but if I did, I would go to a nice restaurant with my husband and maybe a movie

    If you’re looking for easily and reliable babysitting, I’d recommend a babysitting coop — where you trade free care with other families in your community.

    You can locate a coop near you on SittingAround (http://sittingaround.com). I’ve been in a coop for years and love it. So does my 7 yo son. I also run the site, so I am happy to help you find a coop in your town or start your own.
