For the love of Bento and Easy Lunch Boxes!
For the past couple months you’ve probably noticed the book on my sidebar for Kelly Lester’s Cooking With Trader Joe’s: Easy Lunch Boxes. It’s about time I talk about it!
There is no hiding my love for Bento, I’ve written about it before here, here and of course here! There is something so fun about opening up a bright, perfectly portioned sized lunch.
brains genius behind Easy Lunch Boxes (the only lunch box system we use) has written a cookbook! This is a compilation of all the best Bento bloggers you can get! They each share their recipes and tips for creating lunches your kids (and you) will eat!
Many of the recipes do not rely on Trader Joe’s ingredients, so if you are not lucky enough to live near one (I have 3 within a mile!) you can still learn a lot about how to create the perfect Bento.
You can check out a preview of the book here.
Every page is filled with beautiful Bentos and the recipes and directions you need to make your own.
After checking out the cookbook, I was inspired to make a Trader Joe’s Bento for me to eat! Chinese pot stickers with soy sauce in an Easy Lunch Boxes Mini Dipper container with apple slices and edamame.
If you are interested in learning more about Bento and how to make quick, easy fun lunches check out the book here!
