I was watching Dora the other day.
Well, my daughter was watching while I held her and the infamous chocolate song came on, “Bat-ay, Bat-ay, choc-o-lat-ay, mix your chocolate all around!” And then they proceed to lick the bowl.
That’s it. That’s the treat.
Really, it’s genius.
Dessert shouldn’t take a long time, require more than 5 steps or give you major frustration, it’s supposed to be a ‘treat.’

I mentioned these easy peasy doughnut holes in my Week 1 Get Happy for FREE challenge.

A treat shouldn’t take more then five steps. Cut the biscuits in half and press them down a little before dropping in the oil. Soak them on paper towels or brown paper bags. That’s it! All add-ons are optional: sugar, cinnamon, chocolate or caramel for dipping.
I made these for my son’s First Grade Class. When I went to pick him up the kids were asking for the recipe! First graders! They really are so good.
After making them, I was inspired to keep a list of two ingredient desserts handy. No need to end a meal without a little something sweet.
Here are forty more dessert recipes that only require two ingredients!
Enjoy!
