It’s time to shop the drugstores! Every week I pick one drugstore and show step by step how far your $5 can take you! Saving money doesn’t mean spending a lot out of pocket. I try not use more than $5.99 out of pocket and see how far I can s-t-r-e-t-c-h my money. All coupons were available at the time, if it’s not available it is most likely out of prints. They sometimes do re-set at the beginning of the month!
Some notes about shopping at CVS:
- Their cash back program is called Extra Care Bucks (ECB), it prints at the bottom of your receipt.
- Use your store loyalty card every time you shop.
- Scan your card at the red coupon machine inside the store for CVS store coupons.
- You can use a CVS store coupon with a Manufacturer coupon on one item.
- You can use 2 coupons on a BOGO sale.
- You can use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale.
*Check your email! CVS sent out a $4 off $20 coupon that is valid through 2/17/13.*
NEW! Now when you can get your extracare coupons sent to your card, no need to print it out! Remember though, this will apply to your next shopping purchase, so if you want more control over using it, just print it instead.
If you have the 20% savings pass, it can be used on top of these sales!

Use $5 from Saving Star (will be deposited in your online account)
=$5.85, get back $5 ECB for L’Oreal

=$.67, get back $.67
Colgate Toothpaste Twin Pack $2.99
=$2.99, get back $2 ECB

Use $1 off 1 from HERE
=$1
=$4.66 (find filler to make it $5), Use $5 ECB from previous transaction
=$0, get back $2.67 ECB
Bottom Line: $5.85 out of pocket, $37.51 worth of product and $2.67 ECB to use next time
