They are not kidding with the salt!
I am a salted caramel fiend. If it has those two words together I’ll order it.
We went out last weekend and I ordered a piece of Salted Caramel cake. Sounds heavenly right? The problem, there was a lot of caramel, but no salt. I want to see and taste the bitter to cut the sweet.
Isn’t that the point of the salt?
The folks at Nonni’s Biscotti let me know about this product of theirs. Of course, as soon as they said salted caramel my ears perked up, but my hesitation started.
Sure, I’ll try them out, of course I’ll give away some Nonni’s. But, really, do they taste like salted caramel?
They most definitely do! I smiled when I opened the package and saw the salt crystals. Smiled.

I love Nonni’s, especially those coated in chocolate. Just recommended them to be sold at concessions desk at local theatre. Would love to try the new salted caramel.

I tried these last week during a BOGO sale at Publix. Made them about $1.65. The salted caramel is amaaaazing! Although I crave more sweet than salt, I just plucked off a few of the sea salt grains. If I’m not mistaken they’re only about 100 calories each and this is not a dietetic food, so the kids can enjoy it too. I bough the lemon flavored ones too and those were great also. I headed back to the store the next day for 2 more! Nonni Biscotti is officially added to my treat shopping list.
